Current Master's student: I personally haven't had too much experience with the College of Education outside of my program, but I am impressed by how many programs the college has to offer and the diversity of people within all of these programs. The college is constantly broadcasting events and learning opportunities for students. The college seems geared towards cultivating the most enriched environment for student success.... Current Master's student: My academic experience overall, has been great. I really enjoyed learning online while obtaining my master's degree. Where I think there is room for improvement is as follows; (1) I am a part of Teach for America (this program would be difficult without their support), (2) it is very hard to build a community in Las Vegas, and (3) it would be hard to want to continue in the community after graduation as there is not community connection within the program!... Current Doctoral student: I really enjoy the overall academic program of Occupation Therapy. I truly feel that Touro provides many hands on opportunities for the students to gain practice and physical skills through multiple simulations. I also enjoy that there are opportunities to shadow our professors during they clinical sessions and collaborate on projects with them such as in research. I also love that there are multiple connections they have with settings such as hospitals, clinics, outpatient centers, school districts, and more to provide us the experience of how OT is involved in that setting....
