Master's Student: The program is very rigorous, but you will learn a lot about Biomedical Engineering (BME). BU has a lot of different BME courses, so it is very easy to find out which fields you like and don't like. There are also a bunch of graduate level research labs and projects with a variety of faculty members. By taking advantage of these two facts, you will be able to find out what it is you want to pursue in industry/academia, and gain hands-on experience in the specialization you choose.
Quick note: There are classes that have required lab components, but there are also classes in which you get to choose whether you want to take a lab section or not. It's a nice choice for those who just wish to learn the theory, and for those who want to learn the theory and apply it in the lab.
