Current Master's student: To provide some context, I am currently attending NYU in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. The program is excellent in the sense that it is organized, comprehensive, and highly individualized as the class size is so small (capped at 40 per year). The program is designed to mold each student into well-rounded, generalized practitioners which sets a great foundation for us if we choose to further our careers with certain specialties. The professors of this program are without a doubt some of the most passionate people in the field and it shows during their lectures and how they interact with students. Professors highlight that while yes they are teaching us, they also learn from us with our new perspectives as well which evenly places importance on both the professor and the student. Overall, I would highly recommend this program to anyone pursuing a DPT degree.... Read 21 reviews

Current Master's student: The program I am in is the Mental Performance Masters program. This program for me so far has been exceptional. The course I am taking along with the professors and their mastery of the topic make this program amazing. For someone that minored in psychology in undergrad, I fit into the style of this program very well. I went from constant lectures with my major courses in undergrad, to now discussing topics every day in class and applying it in role play scenarios. When it comes down to topics and theories, since I have been able to apply them first-hand, I feel a lot more confident with my ability to practice the things I have learned without hesitation.... Master's Student: I completed a Masters of Anatomy degree at D'youville College and I really enjoyed the program. The faculty at the school are genuine and always willing to help to see the success of their students. The class sizes were relatively small which was great as this allowed you to get one on one time with your professors and really interact with your fellow classmates without feeling too shy. In regards to the Master of Anatomy program, it was truly amazing and an eye opener. The school has a special cadaver program and being part of this made the masters exceptional. Current Master's student: For my B.S. I had no issues, I loved Utica College, I loved my professors, the biggest downfall was graduating May 2020 in the height of the pandemic. For the Graduate program I am currently enrolled in, I can not say the same thing. It seems very chaotic (which, in all honesty, is the nature of education, so it’s fitting) but the professors and faculty work diligently to accommodate me as a student, which is extremely noteworthy. Current Master's student: Studying Applied Theatre at CUNY under one of the pioneers of the profession, Christopher Vine has been an enlightening and rewarding experience. My cohort is supportive in both my academic and professional process. In recognizing that theatre and education in the US is still dominated by white leaders, it has been illuminating to be an Asian American in a space where my opinions and ideas are held in high regard by my professors and my classmates. Though I find the work to be sometimes hard and overwhelming, I'm driven to keep going because of the confidence the people in my program have in me. Master's Student: My experience at Long Island University was amazing. My major as a Graduate was Public Administration. The professors and faculty staff for this program are amazing. If you ever needed to talk to them in their office, they would make time for you. The professors guided me through all courses I took with them. The professors encourage you to speak up so your voice can be heard. I never felt restricted in the Public Administration program. I wrote several papers on topics I was passionate about. This school also has amazing sport teams and societies you can join. There was a healthy balance between studying and having fun. The school would organize fun activities for students to attend.
