Other: I am currently in rehabilitation sciences at UIC which has been my dream school since 2017. I was not able to directly attend UIC after high school, I attended community college in the meantime. One of the main reasons I wanted to attend UIC was due to its diversity and endless opportunities. I believe UIC's community is one of the many things to love about the school. As for the department of rehabilitation sciences under Applied Health Sciences, every teach has shown great passion for what they do and their personal time they have spent at UIC as a teacher and once a student. Throughout the program teachers make sure to help each and every student with equal opportunities and resources. By having a great staff it allows us students to love attending class and feeling like our program is a safe space. As for worst experiences, I am happy to say I have had none. It was hard for me to transition from community to university but that was due to personal factors, like maintaining a job.... Read 3 reviews

Graduate Student: I am pursuing the dual masters’ degree in Public Administration (PADM) and Political and Justice Studies (POJS). These interdisciplinary degrees will enhance my chances for greater opportunities in the private and public sectors as a public administrator, public servant, academic professor, and academic advisor in the areas of political justice and public policies’ arenas.
