It truly is an amazing school despite the rigorous and heavy time commitment requirement of the program. Doctoral Student: I am currently enrolled in the Pharm D program at Marshall B Ketchum University. The program is a hybrid program as some lectures require mandatory in -person attendance while other are attendance optional. The course curricular is designed to gradually introduce the student to pharmacy practice. Efficiently starting off with skills that enable the student to get into pharmacy practice immediately as an intern. The faculty is completely dedicated to student progress, and structure lectures and assessments in a manner that enhances learning. Current Doctoral student: The program is well set up and fixated on helping students achieve everything in the program. When you first show up every professor has what they call " an open door policy" where their doors are always open to students, for whatever we need. We are also introduced to Interprofessional practice to better hone our skills in our respected field. Though the course is fast pace and very informative the professors try to make sure we understand the concept instead a single material. If there were something I would change about the course would be more emphasis on allowing students to be more hands-on every week instead of during the rotations. Overall the study is rigorous and exciting and gives me as a student courage to be able to go out into the field and be successful.... Read 7 reviews

Doctoral Student: I appreciate the academic rigor and student opportunities that California Northstate University has to offer. The faculty do an excellent job at preparing their students academically through their curriculum and interactive teaching style. Students typically do well on their STEP scores and match well into residency due to the attention to detail and teaching at the school. On the other hand, CNU is a relatively new school that lacks a teaching hospital and other facilities that would help train students to become competent physicians. Because of this, the students often have to pursue research and clinical opportunities elsewhere outside of the school. The lack of these resources limits student growth.... Read 9 reviews
