Master's Student: I am an new entry graduate student in Healthcare Administration at the University of Southern California. Although I have not started yet, the reason I believe my input is valid for this scholarship is because for the past two years i have been in contact with their faculty, and it has been so informative! I was so happy with the faculty that I even went in person to meet one of the counselors named Will to discuss my future admission for the MHA program. The staff made me feel so welcome, and I learned how networking with USC can be such an important asset in a graduate degree. Doctoral Student: I am currently enrolled in the Pharm D program at Marshall B Ketchum University. The program is a hybrid program as some lectures require mandatory in -person attendance while other are attendance optional. The course curricular is designed to gradually introduce the student to pharmacy practice. Efficiently starting off with skills that enable the student to get into pharmacy practice immediately as an intern. The faculty is completely dedicated to student progress, and structure lectures and assessments in a manner that enhances learning. Current Doctoral student: West Coast University DPT program is a a program that is still fairly new which means minor kinks are apparent, but overall I am very happy with it. The hand selected students within this program is awesome because they did a great job with diversity, and finding students who truly want to help people and are passionate about this career path. The faculty is very intelligent, easy going, approachable, student centric and prepare us for real world situations. West Coast University DPT program is very personable and truly wants the best for their students while they teach us evidence based practice. I wouldn't want to be at any other school!... Current Doctoral student: The program is well set up and fixated on helping students achieve everything in the program. When you first show up every professor has what they call " an open door policy" where their doors are always open to students, for whatever we need. We are also introduced to Interprofessional practice to better hone our skills in our respected field. Though the course is fast pace and very informative the professors try to make sure we understand the concept instead a single material. If there were something I would change about the course would be more emphasis on allowing students to be more hands-on every week instead of during the rotations.
