Master's Student: One of my favorite things about my program is how small the class sizes are. It makes it so much easier to connect with your professors and other classmates. I also absolutely love all of the professors because you can tell that they truly care about their students and their future. I haven't had any bad experiences in my program. Doctoral Student: Help and guidance is always around the corner whenever you need it! The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help if you make time to meet with them and discuss any concerns you might have. Medical school is obviously tough already, however, the professors and deans at LECOM truly care about your success and will always do what they can to help you achieve your goals. I am a current 3rd year medical student on rotations and have been very pleased with my experiences so far. I feel that the curriculum we had during the first two years prepared me well to take and pass both USMLE Step 1 as well as COMLEX Level 1. Aside from this, I have made life-long friends during my time at LECOM that I still keep in contact with every day. I think that the school's location and building makes it so that you're able to get to know your classmates and, of course, there is no deeper bond that gets created between people that are all working hard towards similar goals and aspirations.... Current Doctoral student: I really enjoy the overall academic program of Occupation Therapy. I truly feel that Touro provides many hands on opportunities for the students to gain practice and physical skills through multiple simulations. I also enjoy that there are opportunities to shadow our professors during they clinical sessions and collaborate on projects with them such as in research. I also love that there are multiple connections they have with settings such as hospitals, clinics, outpatient centers, school districts, and more to provide us the experience of how OT is involved in that setting....
