Doctoral Student: First of all, I must begin with an incredible amount of gratitude towards the school for having accepted an underdog student like me who had an incredible GPA and an extraordinary CV, but a regular MCAT in the MD program. The school is STEP oriented, therefore, all of your exams are USMLE style questions. This provides students with an excellent foundation when facing boards, which has proven overtime, with the expected results. As a first year medical student, having passed on to second year of medical training, I feel very satisfied with the education I have received and very excited for all that is to come during the process of completing my Doctorate in Medicine. The school also has an excellent research-oriented, driven reputation that aids students in completing publishable works during their studies in order to be a more well rounded candidate and excel in opportunities beyond medical school, as for example the Residency Match.
