Current Master's student: The best part about coming to Stanford are the people and the ability to find a group of friends who are interested in the same things that you may be very interested in . Coming from India, there is a large Indian community here such that I have never felt homesick. The campus does get a bit dead during the holidays but it is to be expected as people who do live in the USA, go back for vacations. Overall the professors are great and are leafing professionals in their respective fields doing some of the most fascinating research in the world. I would highly anyone to come here to experience this type o f workhand play hard culture that is fostered into this place.... Read 3 reviews

Master's Student: Overall, I had a really good academic experience, the classes were well-structured, and the professors were good. My only two problems were with my academic advisor and the senior design project. My senior design project was a 2 credit class, but I was working on it for approximately 15 hours a week, which is not reflected in my transcripts or resume. Master's Student: The Environmental Engineering department at Mines is incredible. The faculty are absolutely amazing and their teaching style allows students to get hands-on experience in the field. In the classroom, there are also great visual aids to help students understand the content. Office hours are also available for all classes, allowing students to get additional help whenever they need it.
