Alum: I earned the Master of Science in Tech Commercialization. The one year program was a great fit for my full time work and full time parenting schedule. It was a very effective blend of in person classes and online classes every other weekend. The international component was top notch, expanding my business experience. Highly recommend for anyone interested in business and technology!... Read 10 reviews

Master's Student: The majority of the professors are knowledgeable and helpful, the materials we use for the classes are up to date with relatable examples. In addition, some of the professors provide constructive and detailed feedback on your assignments. However, for some courses, the material used has been done by a different professor, and it could get confusing when rating the classes as the lectures were recorded by someone else. Overall, I have learned from every single class, and I am passionate about the topics.... Read 17 reviews

Niche User: A major is the degree you are trying to get, like you say, a business degree requires a major in business. That means that on top of the core classes required for all degrees regardless of major (art, history, government, etc), you'll be taking several classes that focus exclusively on business and aspects of business. You can enhance this degree with a minor, like a minor in accounting or a minor in economics, or in management. The minor will have several more extra classes that focus on that topic. Business degrees do not suck. It all depends on what you do with it. Remember that all business requires networking skills not always covered by a business degree. A lot of people get the degree and then think they'll get a job. It doesn't work that way for any degree, much less business. Join organizations, attend conferences, and talk to people in the business you intend to start. Especially get to know suppliers and potential clients of that business.... Read 2 reviews
