Master's Student: At Columbus State University I have had an awesome academic experience in the Natural Sciences department. More specifically I am a graduate student in the Natural Science's biology department. All of the faculty have been excellent in their instruction and guidance throughout my first year. My thesis advisor has given me phenomenal guidance with my thesis project and I feel as though I am learning and building my skillset as a scientist. It is a small school with a small program which has its limitations in what can be done as far as research, but the one-on-one opportunities available with each professor due to the small number of students are extremely beneficial to my own academic and professional development.... Doctoral Student: I attended Clark Atlanta University's MSW program. I found the program to be geared toward the success of their students. My practicums exceeded my expectations. My concentration year practicum was at Georgia Regional Hospital and I was hired by Georgia Regional Hospital in Adult Mental Health after my graduation.
