Master's Student: Just graduated from the Computer Science MSc program at MET. Courses were technical, professors were knowledgeable and available. All instructors and TA seem to be invested in the students' success. The only negative I have was that I think the school can stand to emphasize more in depth math and programming classes... Alum: I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. The professors were knowledgeable, fair, and respectful. They provided students with an outline of the course being administered to aid in time management and organization. Every professor in the program was courteous and caring. When a student had questions or concerns, they were answered in a timely manner.... Read 5 reviews

Other: The graduate certificate program for intercollegiate athletic administration has been very informative so far. I am pursuing a career in college athletics and the curriculum has definitely given me assignments that will help prepare me for real life situations. This would included processing junior college transfer and monitoring APP rates for student athletes and the programs they play for. I have also been given instructions to learn what goes into managing facilities under an athletic department and the overall operations that go into running athletic programs and the athletic department as a whole.... Current Master's student: The UC Denver Public Policy program offers a diverse selection of courses in areas such as public administration, social policy, and economic policy. The coursework is practical and interesting, allowing us to learn from real-world case studies, guest lecturers, and simulations. Internship and networking opportunities are available through the program, providing students with significant hands-on experience and connections. There is a lot of collaboration and group work, which allows us to improve our teamwork and communication abilities. This is especially beneficial for those of us interested in professions in public service, where collaboration and communication are required. It's been ideal to have access to faculty members who are specialists in their fields and are actively engaged in research and policy activities. I get to learn from and interact with these professionals through classroom discussions, research projects, and other activities.... Read 2 reviews

Graduate Student: I love my professors, the staff, and the available resources. The budget cuts have been really challenging -- all of the Public Administrations online journals have been removed from the library (you can still access them via inter-library loan), and a ceiling tile collapsed in a class room (the Urban & Public Affairs building is old). Despite the budget cuts, my professors have been outstanding, professional, incredibly knowledgeable and devoted to being the best possible.... Read 2 reviews

Master's Student: My experience at VCU has been pretty great given the current pandemic and the restrictions the university has had. My discipline (Master's of Social Work) is largely based on human interaction, so going virtual has been a challenge; however, VCU has made strides to accommodate. Additionally, the MSW program holds "Town Hall" forums and conducts polls and surveys to measure student satisfaction regarding the pandemic. I believe they are truly listening to our voices and that we are being heard. VCU as a whole, not just the MSW program, has addressed social justice issues in a way that many universities have not. Forums, rallys, and information videos are accessible to students and social progress is a platform for my university and I wear that with pride.... Read 7 reviews

Master's Student: St. Ambrose University's graduate program for the Master's of Science in IT Management is pretty nice. All of the classes I have taken thus far have been engaging and learning important content for current critical topics in Information Technology and in the business world. The best way to describe the program is a selection of Computer Science/IT classes with some classes taken from the Business Admin program as well. My only frustrations right now is that the department is in a professor shortage currently. As a result, some classes are only offered every other year or so. This makes me unsure if classes that are required to graduate will be available when I need them to. I think the classes and class content are engaging, are worth learning about, and relevant to business practices in IT work.... Read 33 reviews
