Master's Student: I am in my 3rd semester as a speech and language pathology graduate student. I have had 1-on-1 mentorship from a La Salle supervisor during clinic and from one of the faculty members. The professors care about their students and provide rigorous, evidence-based information that is useful in our careers and practicals. Our class consists of 33 students and everyone is supportive of each other and very friendly. The program feels like family and it is very easy to get integrated and get involved. I have also had the opportunity to lead a graduate research project that we will present at the ASHA and PSHA conventions in the fall and spring. Overall, this has been one of the best experiences of my life and is shaping my future clinical practice by some of the best experts in the field. There are also opportunities to work on projects with professors and learn from practicing clinicians with years of expertise under their belt. If you're looking for an SLP program-- this is it!...
