Current Master's student: Although, I have not started my graduate program yet, the application has been simple and straightforward. I also received news of my acceptance in a timely manner. I hope to have the opportunity to begin my classes for this upcoming spring semester. The faculty shows to have amazing credentials and look forward to learning from them. Also, the networking opportunities seem to have great potential at this university and program. I have attended a couple of webinars and the potential students all seem to come from different age groups, experiences, backgrounds, and jobs. I look forward to working with them and to learn from their prospectives on subjects that will be discussed in the program. I will follow up with more reviews as I go through the program, in order to help guide potential students look to further their education. Overall my experience has been terrific and the admissions team has be very transparent.... Read 22 reviews

Master's Student: Online classes have their pros and cons. I enjoy the flexibility George Washington University's Healthcare Management online program provides for its students, and it is very refreshing to work with dedicated academic advisors to develop a class schedule that works well with my work schedule. At the beginning of each course, the professors take the time to explain the class expectations thoroughly and have made me feel like they are there to support me in my studies in Healthcare Management. What I find difficult about the program is mainly the time difference. I live in Arizona, and the classes are all in Eastern Standard Time, so when I try to communicate with my professors or classmates, we can easily miss each other. I enjoy the classes offered in the program, and I believe the knowledge I will gain from getting my master's here will benefit me and the hospitals and health clinics I will eventually manage.... Master's Student: The course work here is rigorous and exciting and will push you to become the best professional that you can be. Client interactions especially for the speech language pathology graduate program is top notch and they get you working hands on within the first couple weeks of starting the program. The support given by the professors and school are outstanding and I have had nothing but great interactions, even when I've needed help figuring things out.... Read 2 reviews

Alum: I earned my MPA from American University in 2009. The university has a consistently nationally-ranked top MPA program due to its rigorous curriculum, and experienced and accomplished faculty that draw a diverse group of students. As a graduate student who worked full time I did not participate in student life per se but I observed it was an active campus and there are opportunities to be involved with public and international affairs due to the school’s programs and location in D.C. I formed some close bonds with other grad students and truly grew through the experience. I highly recommend the university and this degree program for students interested in public service, nonprofit sector, and policy. I believe there may be more options for online offerings as well, keeping with current trends.... Read 4 reviews
