Master's Student: My experience at USF has been amazing thus far. I attend the Orange County campus which is much smaller, but still very quaint and charming. Since attending, I have had nothing but great things to say. I am currently going into my second year at USF and have loved it so far. There is a graduate student nursing association that tries to plan events but the campus is very small so it is not as big as you would expect the main campus to be. With that being said, the program is two years full-time with no online classes. Which explains why I rated that portion low. The only reason it is online at this time is because of COVID-19 precautions. They also do not provide housing because the campus is small, so you will need to find somewhere to live on your own if you are not from the area like myself. Do not let this deter you! There are plenty of apartments nearby that are available for rent so housing should not be an issue.... Read 8 reviews

Master's Student: I have been incredibly impressed with the graduate program at PLNU! Admissions have been available since before classes started, excelling with communication to make sure I feel valued and taken care of as a student. My professors are knowledgeable and leaders in my field (Kinesiology) and are readily available to answer my questions. As a full-time working professional, it has been very manageable to balance work and school, a testament to the flexibility and understanding of the faculty and staff. My one remark for room for improvement would be to switch to more in-class lectures when possible. Of course, with Covid policy, this is tricky to do and sometimes out of the universities control, but I value that in class time and would like to see more of it.... Read 164 reviews

It was immediately clear that this school is very invested in the well being of their students. It is a smaller school so you don't feel like "a number." The instructors are always readily available and will make that point known at the beginning of each course. The only challenging thing so far are the classes that are offered online only- I learn best in a classroom setting and being hands on.
