Current Master's student: The school of engineering was really supportive in my growth in the classroom and out. There was a lot of supplementary help offered by professors, TAs and university tutors to help us succeed. Outside of the classroom, there were engineering groups and clubs where we could apply the concepts we learn in class or connect with industry professionals. I have been fortunate to have built strong relationships with professors on campus. That being said, UConn does have some of its downfalls. Not all professors are helpful and supportive. Some want to break students to weed them out by making classes over complicated. I’ve had to take a few classes twice and it was apparent that some professors made the content clear and straightforward while others get very convoluted with the same topics.... Read 1 review
