Current Doctoral student: I am almost finished from Ph.D. leadership program in Education, and overall, my experience was very positive. The curriculum was comprehensive. The professors were knowledgeable and engaging, and they encouraged class discussions and critical thinking continuously. One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity to conduct research as part of my coursework. I worked on several projects and gained valuable experience in designing research study, collecting data, and analyzing results. The program also provided access to various resources, such as the library, writing center, and tutoring services, which helped me to stay on top of my coursework and improve my skills. While the workload was challenging, I found the academic program experience to be very rewarding. I gained a deep understanding of educational leadership and developed skills that I can apply to various career paths. Overall, I would highly recommend this program and this university.... Niche User: Being an online student can be seemingly hard with regards to connecting on site with your teachers. The program in itself is decent, but I am still trying to figure out if I am prepared to continue with graduate school. You will find that 90% of your teachers are all the same which helps you build a report in cases that you need academic letters of reference most of the teacher she start with I typically the ones you into it.... Master's Student: I am enrolled at Campbellsville. The admissions process was easy, and my admissions advisor was amazing! My first 4 classes were great, and I've learned a lot. The PROBLEM I HAVE is their website said flexibility for work and family. That is not the case! The classes I'm getting ready to start states something different. I have not missed a single online meeting and have A's. My daughter starts her volleyball season next week and has two games on days I have an online meeting. My professor states "Absence due to participation in coaching/games/choir rehearsal/family trips/children’s extra circular activities/etc. is not a viable excuse for an absence." I 100% agree you should attend class, but life happens, and you have to be a parent first. These two professors need to reread the school website. I applied at this university because of the SUPPOSED flexibility for parents and working adults. Professors, do better.... Read 31 reviews

Master's Student: The school was very helpful in assisting me throughout the process of signing up and continued to assist with any needs or questions I had as I progressed. They have all my needs separated in to various departments. All of which were very helpful. I feel that I learned a lot from the professors both online and offline. They even have a hybrid program which I have very much enjoyed being a part of. Everyone is so kind, understanding, and hard working. Hard work is also always acknowledged even for those that have chosen online courses.... Read 8 reviews

Master's Student: I'm about halfway through my degree program here at Asbury Theological Seminary. So far all of my courses have been excellent. The professors not only do their best to meet each student where they are but also continue to provide high support and high challenge in each class. Academically, Asbury is a best-kept secret and has world-class scholars and theologians. It has been amazing to sit under so many experts in their respective fields. Spiritually, it has grown me and challenged me. I have loved attending this institution. Anyone who opposes the administration - from professors to staff - becomes ostracised and is pushed out. I expected more from a Christian institution's administration.... Read 32 reviews

Current Master's student: Absolutely amazing, very supportive faculty and administration. Everyone wants you to succeed, and they provide help through the library and the writing center (ASC). It really helps to prepare you for a life in ministry, especially via their field Ed program. Reflection groups and weekly worship, along with other on and off campus activities helps create a great community. Relatively small class sizes help with good discussions and receiving the help you need from professors. Professors are responsive and helpful, taking the extra time needed if you don’t understand something. The program is well designed and gives you a wide selection of courses both required and elective to meet the needs of the degree. I feel confident when I leave LPTS I will be ready to take on whatever ministry position best fits my calling. I know I will make a difference in the world and their focus on who so ever as well as anti racist work is inspiring and extremely helpful for future work.... Read 1 review
