Niche User: Belhaven University’s Online Biblical Studies program has been a wonderful experience for me. God has led me through interesting classes with many dedicated professors and given me the opportunity to grow in His Word. I’ve learned from Him, the Bible, the textbooks, the professors and even the other students themselves. I have learned that the Bible is a tool and an instrument for living. Using it to measure and navigate current day events, thoughts, feelings, and experiences has provided me with a wealth of wisdom and encouragement. Master's Student: During my senior year of high school, I often thought about where I would attend college. After thinking long and hard about it, I decided to further my education at Alcorn, but that quickly changed because I knew I wanted to be around a smaller crowd. I knew choosing an HBCU would not only allow me to learn more about my culture, but it would surround me with other individuals who looked like me, and why not pick Tougaloo. At Tougaloo, I knew I would be coming into an environment where students would challenge one another. Attending an HBCU is essential to me because of the power of networking. Throughout my collegiate career, I’ve connected with many people worldwide who have become friends. Every time I step on campus, I feel like I belong and I’m protected. Master's Student: Wesley Biblical Seminary is an excellent school for anyone seeking to further their understanding of the Bible and the church. My courses in the Old and New Testament covered, not only Scripture, but also the historical and social considerations of the period in which the books were written. The coursework was challenging but not impossible. The professors are very concerned for how well their students perform and were readily available to answer any concerns that I had. I would highly recommend Wesley to any student seeking to further their understanding of Scripture and seeking to further their understanding of the calling of God upon their lives.... Read 3 reviews
