Master's Student: This is a tough program but a great recommended step if you want to go to Med/Dental school and are looking to make your application stronger. Much better than a post bacc because you actually come out with a masters degree which is worth something. Looks very good when your trying to match for residency as well. They help you with volunteer hours and community service as well. The pre dental society and pre med society are a great resource too. School has a non toxic and healthy environment not everyone is out for your neck so I love it so far. As a student who had her under grad covered with scholarships I feel the program is a little on the pricier end.... Read 7 reviews

Doctoral Student: In the Physics Department, the classes are wide-ranging and generally well taught. They are challenging and require the amount of effort expected of a very good graduate education. However, the department is also somewhat behind the times in the assessment that is required for a PhD. You will spend two years jumping through hoops before beginning any real work for very little money. Many students wish to do research in String Theory, but there is little funding available and many students are admitted. Funding in most other areas of the department are adequate enough that most students are in the research area they wish to pursue.... Read 3 reviews

Graduate Student: I knew from the moment I went to the open house for my MSW program that Sacred Heart University was my school of choice. The knowledge each Professor has is astounding, and you can feel their passion for this subject matter when they speak. I felt right at home and bonded with many people in the program. I am learning a great deal and I think this education is preparing me to be an excellent Social Worker and is providing me with the tools that I need to succeed!... Read 6 reviews

Master's Student: The fact that Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences offers top-notch education is a no brainer. The administration and student financial offices try to help students offset the cost of attendance in a variety of ways, including assistanceships, on-campus employment, loans, etc. but sadly these are still not enough for the majority of students. I hope the school releases a greater funds from its endowment to financially support its students so they can experience healthy, sustainable education.... Read 3 reviews

Current Master's student: Studying Applied Theatre at CUNY under one of the pioneers of the profession, Christopher Vine has been an enlightening and rewarding experience. My cohort is supportive in both my academic and professional process. In recognizing that theatre and education in the US is still dominated by white leaders, it has been illuminating to be an Asian American in a space where my opinions and ideas are held in high regard by my professors and my classmates. Though I find the work to be sometimes hard and overwhelming, I'm driven to keep going because of the confidence the people in my program have in me. It's been inspiring and uplifting to be in an educational space like this. For the first time going to school, I feel seen and respected as an Asian American.... Read 16 reviews

Master's Student: My experience at Long Island University was amazing. My major as a Graduate was Public Administration. The professors and faculty staff for this program are amazing. If you ever needed to talk to them in their office, they would make time for you. The professors guided me through all courses I took with them. The professors encourage you to speak up so your voice can be heard. I never felt restricted in the Public Administration program. I wrote several papers on topics I was passionate about. This school also has amazing sport teams and societies you can join. There was a healthy balance between studying and having fun. The school would organize fun activities for students to attend. I attended a welcome party where there was food and fun games to play. I had a great time at this school.... Read 2 reviews

Master's Student: The MLS program at Queens College has been so far, a very good experience. The coursework is interesting and challenging, the professors have all been very supportive and knowledgable, and the tuition is a very good deal for the quality of education I am getting.
