Current Master's student: To provide some context, I am currently attending NYU in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. The program is excellent in the sense that it is organized, comprehensive, and highly individualized as the class size is so small (capped at 40 per year). The program is designed to mold each student into well-rounded, generalized practitioners which sets a great foundation for us if we choose to further our careers with certain specialties. The professors of this program are without a doubt some of the most passionate people in the field and it shows during their lectures and how they interact with students. Professors highlight that while yes they are teaching us, they also learn from us with our new perspectives as well which evenly places importance on both the professor and the student. Overall, I would highly recommend this program to anyone pursuing a DPT degree.... Read 19 reviews

Master's Student: The Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College is an amazing institution. The program is on par with other top programs in NYC like NYU but it is a fraction of the cost for in-state students. I got my MPA in 2021 and had a truly top-notch education. The professors really care about the students and truly love what they do. I felt all my professors were experts in their field and very helpful.... Read 7 reviews

Niche User: I really have enjoyed this school quite a bit. It’s small enough so that you get much needed one on one attention. I can only speak for the science program but from my experience thus far it has been amazing. I am gradually beginning to come out of my shell a lot more and I’m starting to realize the world is not always a dark, scary place.... Read 20 reviews

Master's Student: I like how Hofstra University is continuing with their programs and is making great efforts to combat against the pandemic through the usage of masks and vaccines. Everyone is very helpful in answering any questions and concerns promptly with delay. Putting aside the workload, everything else like the registration process and keeping track of the courses taken as well as courses needed to take are made easy.... Read 2 reviews

Master's Student: My academic experience at Lehman College has been great because the professors show empathy, passion and care for their students. My professors are understanding of the responsibilities I have outside of school and always manage being supportive. The only downfall is I haven't been able to physically take classes on campus because my Master's program is fully online. Overall, I love the student and professor culture, safety regulations and the size of campus.... Read 2 reviews

Master's Student: I absolutely love ASU and have attended there for all my educational needs. Whle I was not enrolled in classes, ASU was till open for me to use their resources, their library and computer lab. I am from Jonesboro so I am just home here. I started my Masters in Special Education K-12 this past spring, and it's been really interesting. It is VERY time consuming, all the work that is assigned and the grades you have to maintain in this field. I am also a full time teacher at a title one school district here in Northeast Arkansas. So, the onine graduate courses I have to take to reach my masters and obtain my SPED teaching certification are much better being online instead of having to attend classes in person. I have always had good experiences at ASU and am I still getting familiar with the College of Education due to all my areas of study and degress are in the College of Agriculture, Plant Science, Animal Science, and Vocational Technical Administraton.... Current Doctoral student: I am almost finished from Ph.D. leadership program in Education, and overall, my experience was very positive. The curriculum was comprehensive. The professors were knowledgeable and engaging, and they encouraged class discussions and critical thinking continuously. One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity to conduct research as part of my coursework. I worked on several projects and gained valuable experience in designing research study, collecting data, and analyzing results. The program also provided access to various resources, such as the library, writing center, and tutoring services, which helped me to stay on top of my coursework and improve my skills. While the workload was challenging, I found the academic program experience to be very rewarding. I gained a deep understanding of educational leadership and developed skills that I can apply to various career paths. Overall, I would highly recommend this program and this university....
