Doctoral Student: The community at Georgetown is outstanding. Everyone is so welcoming and the support of the community is overwhelming. The location of the school is also great! The few things I would change about Georgetown include the medical school facilities, which are very old, and the high price of education here.... Read 4 reviews

Master's Student: The university has world-class faculty and a stellar location in downtown Washington DC. I am at the Milken Institute School of Public Health, and i appreciate that the school has their own financial aid office, student services, alumni office, etc so students have access to more resources. One let down has been that the school boasted having "flexible" class schedules for part time students who are working, but unfortunately many of the classes I have to take begin at 3pm (which doesnt work with my 9-5pm work schedule). For grad students interested in public health at GWU, i'd recommend looking at the online program because the schedule is more flexible and geared towards those who work. Also as part of the MPH program we are expected to complete a practicum which is challenging for those who work full time.... Read 11 reviews

Alum: I attended the George Squared program between George Mason University and Georgetown University. It served as a Graduate Certificate program in Advanced Biomedical Sciences. After completion, you are able to take a summer semester at Georgetown University and obtain a MS degree in Physiology and Biophysics. It's extremely challenging but SO rewarding. My only disappointment was that I felt it did not provide Pre-Physician Assistant students with as much advising support as it did for Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental students.... Read 2 reviews
