Master's Student: I like that Rutgers University School of Public Health is flexible in allowing students to study two concentrations at the same time. That is exactly what I did. I did Health Systems and Policy as well as Environmental and Occupational Health. If you want to stick to only one concentration, that's ok, too! Master's Student: The fact that Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences offers top-notch education is a no brainer. The administration and student financial offices try to help students offset the cost of attendance in a variety of ways, including assistanceships, on-campus employment, loans, etc. but sadly these are still not enough for the majority of students. I hope the school releases a greater funds from its endowment to financially support its students so they can experience healthy, sustainable education.... Read 3 reviews

Master's Student: I just recently started school as a student in the Masters of Science in Epidemiology program! I am ready and excited for my first term at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Mount Sinai. This school is very diverse and welcoming! Studying public health is significant to me because I want to provide for the public's needs constantly and effectively. I view public health professionals as people part of the population that they are studying enabling a collaborative collision of leadership and teamwork coexisting. My career goal is to have the opportunity to devote more time to people in need or lacking the essentials for a healthy lifestyle. Becoming an epidemiologist is my dream goal because it allows me to protect the poor and disadvantaged by educating them and aiding them in restoring care of their health; whether it is in my neighborhood, immigrant/ethnic communities, or globally....
