Current Master's student: This has been such a great experience for me. My school gives me an internship, so that we all work together. We get multiple fieldwork sites in order to test out which field we may like to work in for the future. I work very closely with my professors and get to apply what I learned in class directly at my internship site. They provide helpful feedback in the moment, as well as advice for the future. Master's Student: Enrollment in the graduate program was easy and efficient. UTRGV is current with the nature of today's student needs and has developed its graduate programs to meet them. Students can attend on campus, online or hybrid classes. Students who attend line are subject to the campus fees; an ethical and cost effective approach that many other universities have not adopted. Guidance is readily available, staff and professors are helpful and knowledgeable. Doctoral Student: Thank you for the opportunity to be selected for this scholarship. I'm currently enrolled in Houston Christian University, Doctor of Education Program. My degree focus is Executive Leadership. I plan to use this degree to become a college professor. The best part of my experience throughout this doctoral journey was the initial process. I was able to apply and interview within a timely manner. I had applied for other programs, but they seemed to have no urgence. HBU's process was challenging but I felt supported the entire time. The worst part of my experience, I had a professor who was absent most of the semester. The coursework was available to access the week before class started, but the professor wasn't available to answer any questions. I went most of the semester without any feedback.... Read 10 reviews

Other: Being enrolled in Texas A&M has taught a list of skills that I hope to continue my education with and improve on. I hope to progress! I’ve had small doubts within my own self if whether I deserved to be in the school I am. The amount of helpfulness and encouragement the staff provide is outstanding! In the past the only issue I’ve had with my university is selecting a course during summer. Usually the seats are taken and fast and some classes aren’t available.
