Alum: The reading, research paper, and exam requirements were rigorous. We were expected to read hundreds of pages each week comprising textbook and journal article material. However, I found the rest of the program requirements to be lacking. Our primary assignments, outside of reading and research, were weekly posts to the discussion boards. Most of my professors interacted with the class rarely, and they did not provide much in the way of feedback, direct instruction, or guidance. Overall, I learned a lot at Norwich, but I think that is because I was personally invested. Bottom line - online school equals a largely solo and ultimately less rewarding academic experience....
