Master's Student: IU is such a fantastic learning environment. I studied my undergrad at Purdue so going to grad school at IU definitely was a conflict of my heart. I attended the Kelley on Campus event for the online MBA, and I can honestly say I love IU. The on campus experience mixed in with a very fast paced live case study made for a very challenging yet rewarding experience I will never forget. Master's Student: Once you get past the advisors there will be some great experiences. Do not wait on your advisor for anything. Take the initiative because they do not do their job timely. As much as I dislike Math taking Statics in the undergraduate program helped me get through my Six Sigma Black Belt exam. "Purdue Global" is off-putting when none of the other extensions put the extension name on the degree but it is becoming more and more recognized and associated with Purdue University as it should be. Hopefully, Mung Chiang the new President for Purdue will change the degree as you become a Purdue Alumni so that is what should be on the degree. Time Management is key to successfully attending online as well as a strong support system. Utilize your resources and be kind to yourself. Be aware of your mental health and emotional state. Graduate Student: OMG! Where do I start? The Devry team has been very good to me over the years. Amanda Wright I would like to take the time to especially recognize. Amanda has taken my case in Dec. 2016 and told me that she is going to do everything in her power to help me get through this and graduate. It is now present day I have taken all four of classes that i needed to graduate in spite of set backs Amanda Wright and the Devry support team has been great with getting back to my emails, phone calls and walk ins at the school. I would like to say a great big THANK YOU! I am typing this with tears in my eyes because this has been a journey out of this world. One of my goals is to graduate with my Bachelors and show my children that all things are possible if they believe and stay positive .
