Master's Student: Online classes have their pros and cons. I enjoy the flexibility George Washington University's Healthcare Management online program provides for its students, and it is very refreshing to work with dedicated academic advisors to develop a class schedule that works well with my work schedule. At the beginning of each course, the professors take the time to explain the class expectations thoroughly and have made me feel like they are there to support me in my studies in Healthcare Management. What I find difficult about the program is mainly the time difference. I live in Arizona, and the classes are all in Eastern Standard Time, so when I try to communicate with my professors or classmates, we can easily miss each other. I enjoy the classes offered in the program, and I believe the knowledge I will gain from getting my master's here will benefit me and the hospitals and health clinics I will eventually manage.... Current Master's student: The academic program is fun and challenging at the same time. Professors are very helpful and understanding. Master's Student: The Master's in Social Work program is taught from the perspective of the African American experience. As an African American, I have seen both sides of the coin (I have worked as a case manager assisting fractured families and I have advocated for my medically fragile son by successfully defending against false charges of medical neglect). Niche User: My overall experience is very great and I love the faculty, the advisors and everyone there. Its a great school as they provide many different outlooks. They are great about helping you achieve your goals while trying to make it financially affordable as possible. They work with you all the way to the very end. I'm very grateful to be apart of such an amazingly nice diverse culture and school program. So my overall experience has been nothing less of amazing and plan on to finish my college life and career here thru this school.
