School of Public Health - Boston University Reviews
Rating 4.56 out of 5 9 reviews
The articles concerning maternal and child health services were interesting! Quite so. I believe I will become an acclaimed labor & delivery minority health nurse in the future, and I am grateful Boston University-School of Public Health (BUSPH) was my school of choice.
I definitely recommend the Biostats/Epi concentration in the MPH program. The quality of of education Is great. The professors and coursework push you to grow, learn, and apply your knowledge. The degree holds a lot of value and the school has a great reputation nationwide. Fellow alumni I connected with were eager to help. The career office is easily accessible and very helpful.
The practicum process could be improved. Along with the rules related to financial aid and tuition. If you take a 2 credit course and end up at 12 or 14 credits you are still charged for 16 credits. I took a few elective courses in Environmental Health and do not recommend them. They were disorganized and the professors simply read from the slides. Scholarships are not offered the final semester for students completing the MPH degree in 2 years. Security could be improved in the medical campus, especially at night.

I am an avid reader of public health articles and love that this graduate program is interdisciplinary. It’s so great they involve different epistemologies and, more importantly, different fields of scholarship. I want them to include more activism and show more compassion in the future.
