Athletic Training
The Pitt Athletic Training program provides you with the opportunity to take what you learn in the classroom and apply it in a variety of clinical settings. Our students will be integrated into the health care model for University of Pittsburgh D1 athletes, housed within the four athletic training facilities located on campus. Complete additional clinicals with Pittsburgh Steelers, Carnegie Mellon University, La Roche University, Robert Morris University, Chatham University, The UPMC Freddie Fu Sports Medicine Center, The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex and seven local area high schools.
Doctoral Programs
Physical Therapy
Our Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum prepares our graduates to be leaders in providing cutting-edge care! We ensure our graduates are well prepared to enter the workforce, so we complement our didactic education program with a clinical program that includes 42 weeks of full-time clinical education experience. The curriculum is designed to emphasize early and intensive integration of our students into the clinical environment throughout their educational program. The Pitt DPT program offers a dynamic 7-term curriculum in two formats: a Residential and Hybrid option.
