Rating 4.5 out of 5 4 reviews
The programs directors and professors in this school are amazing. They are always willing to help students not only in academics but in all aspects of a students life. I have interacted with other professors outside of my program and the same can be said for them. This school really does hold up their values in a whole person wellness. They go beyond and check in on their students academic performance, mental, and physical health. The only thing that I would like to see is some more resources available for students who are struggling financially or for international students who are far from home.
For my program in the M.S. Child Life Specialist Program, have offered many interactive courses and research based classes. The professors help to explain what you need to do and give you a starting point, then let you search for your own information. I have enjoyed all the things that I have learned and tips that I can get. Especially during this time it has been hard for students to completely and finish classes. The program directors, deans, hospital staff, and teachers all came together to help us finish to graduate or get our clinical hours done.
A grand majority of the staff and professors at Loma Linda are exceptionally kind, caring, and professional. During this time now in COVID, they have been especially understanding and adaptive to change. Although it would be of benefit if off-track students were given greater attention considering their differing schedules, the school does an excellent job at providing a meaningful experience to students.
