Savannah State University Graduate Reviews

Savannah State has a beautiful campus and many professors with passion for their subject and love for their students. However, there is a serious lack of funding which has led to buildings not being properly maintained, limited food options, limited transportation, and an overwhelming feeling of disappointment by the students there. We expect a lot from our university, however, because those expectations are not met; many students feel no need to contribute to the future of SSU. So many do not even claim SSU as their alma mater. The administration prior to Fall 2019 severely damaged the university, we only hope that it can recover.

I am a graduate student and do not spend much time on the school's campus. However, if you make the most of what is offered, the social work program can very rewarding.
