Rutgers University Graduate School - Newark Reviews
Rating 4.29 out of 5 7 reviews
The program offers real insight into courses a student can be taking in medical or dental school. Courses often have recorded lectures, so it is easy to take notes, and professors are eager to answer any questions and help students. Most classes only have a couple of exams that make up the final grade, so it is important to do well on them. You can do well by studying the notes and using any resources the professor recommends. Most courses and professors keep classes interesting by relating the information being taught to real life examples and diseases. Advisors and the dean of the program would always reply promptly to emails and make time for students. Great program overall especially for those who want to eventually go to medical or dental school!
This is a tough program but a great recommended step if you want to go to Med/Dental school and are looking to make your application stronger. Much better than a post bacc because you actually come out with a masters degree which is worth something. Looks very good when your trying to match for residency as well. They help you with volunteer hours and community service as well. The pre dental society and pre med society are a great resource too. School has a non toxic and healthy environment not everyone is out for your neck so I love it so far. As a student who had her under grad covered with scholarships I feel the program is a little on the pricier end.
The school has some excellent instructors and course directors. Your specific path ambassadors also are great and speak truth to you so you can be directed towards success.
