At the Rutgers School of Social Work, it offers two different tracks students may pick which are either clinical or MAP Management and Policy. The route I choose to go is the Clinical which we are given different case examples and therapy examples in the program. The program also requires an internship that the school helps find for you which will help you gain experience with being on the field.
To be honest, I didn’t like the academic program University is offering, especially about my department! There is not much flexibility to choose courses from! Most of the courses shown on academic curriculum website are not even offered by the department, saying they don’t have respective faculty for the same courses!
I have chosen this University seeing at their curriculum. However, I am disappointed!
On the other hand, if I had to rate overall university considering all aspects, then I would say it’s a good University!

I graduated from Rutgers in ECE and was lured away to an Ivy school for my Masters- a huge mistake, the education from Rutgers was far superioir to my current program( which I finish in 5 weeks thank god) When applying for PhD programs, Rutgers was my top choice due to it's vibrant student body( compared to the VERY homogenous, supr super rich student body here!) and exciting research going on, and I'm happy to say that I will be returning to the campus this fall to begin my ECE PhD can't wait to get back to Rutgers, I shouldve never left!
