Rutgers Business School - Newark Reviews

3 reviews
I am in the PT MBA program, and am enjoying it. I needed an evening program that worked with my full time job, and Rutgers was a good option.

I take classes both in Newark and in New Brunswick (even one on their Jersey City satellite campus right near the waterfront!).

The professors are mostly good. A few exceptionally good ones and a few duds. They have a good class and concentration offering and I feel like I am learning a good amount from the program.

Classmates are friendly, some really smart ones. A lot of people work in the pharmaceutical industry, finance, and insurance. Some tech and engineering as well.

Mostly good professors. Some excellent ones and some who aren't good teachers/knowledgeable.

I honestly feel like I should have been expected to do more schoolwork, even thought it was hard enough as it was to manage a FT job and family with school.

A lot of the required classes were an introduction to a topic, and I would have liked to go more in depth.
I liked the fact that they have a great network of support after graduation. I would change the admissions process.
