My graduate experience at Roosevelt University was phenomenal. As a working, single mom, Roosevelt offered very flexible classes with great professors. I was able to attend full time while maintaining my household. The campus in located in downtown Chicago, so there were always many food options before and after class as well as accessible parking for commuters. The small class sizes and great location, gave Roosevelt a large distinction from other schools. The professors were diverse and offered experience from various career paths within the field of Education. I feel the Roosevelt helped prepare me very well to enter the profession of Teaching.
I enjoy my experience at Roosevelt because the campus has a community feel.
The school has great communication via email to distribute campus news, and updates. It is a private school and provides plenty of financial aid to the students. They are also very involved with the community, social media. Roosevelt has great connections to host speakers and educational seminars. Roosevelt also has great support after graduation and resources, scholarships, and fellowship programs related or non-related to Roosevelt.

Very excited to start up my academic year this coming Fall 2020. I have done a lot of research into Roosevelt's Clinical Psychology Program. I will have access to a program that sets me up for further Ph.D/Psy.D Studies, and grants me a license in counseling(LCP) as a counselor in Illinois. For these reasons, Roosevelt's clinical psychology program is very unique, and I look forward to studying here!
