Rochester Institute of Technology Graduate Reviews

17 reviews
Overall, I had an amazing experience at RIT. There were some things that stood out which is why I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5. While the faculty I worked with were phenomenal, I know that in other departments this is not the case. I also know that there were a lot of behind the scene politics involved which eventually trickled on down to the students. However, these things aside, I loved my experience and I became a better person because of the opportunities I had at RIT.

Good programs and variety of classes and events. Scholarship friendly, so do not hesitate to apply. Department personnel works great with you during and after the application process and acceptance.
Rochester Institute of Technology is a great place to learn just about whatever you want. This university caters to several interests from jewelry making, photography, science, to engineering. RIT has a lot of international students as well as students all over the US so it is a place of great diversity where all walks of life can share their cultures and beliefs. RIT also makes an effort to include the surrounding community in Rochester and the annual festival, Imagine RIT, is a great example of this. This festival indulges students and the community alike into vast displays of student work, projects, and ideas for a fun and educational experience.
