I'm a graduate student in Communication and I also work as a graduate teaching assistant in the Communication and Creative Arts department. My courses are so informative but they have this casual atmosphere in which it feels like friends voluntarily gathering to discuss articles and current events, to have interesting debates. I try to bring that energy to the courses I teach. It's interesting to have students that are the same age as me if not older.
I loved all my class at Purdue Northwest University. All my past teachers were very helpful and friendly. My teachers seemed passionate about the topics they taught in their class. Each instructor gave a reasonable amount of time to complete each assignment. That's why I was able to complete the class/program in the time it was expected. I truly enjoy my time in those classes.
As I discussed in the previous section, my courses are informative and very relevant to current society. The subject remains the same but the topics discussed change each time a course is offered so that the material remains fresh and relevant. For example, a course on mass media may focus on news journalism in the spring but the television industry in the fall.
