The professors that I had were amazing and I would give them 5 stars alone. The business office, on the other hand, needs an entirely new staff. I understand that people want to give other opportunities or 'help out' someone, but there needs to be a limit or some sort of transparency. The university also needs to work on getting accreditations for their programs, this helps students can have better job opportunities once they graduate, accreditation matters!
Academics can be great depending on the department and how many resources they have. Because of the schools' lack of accreditation, it can be very challenging for many students once they graduate. However, I do put some of the blame on the A&M network because it makes no sense the Texas A&M schools receive more funding and resources than the predominate minority schools, especially the HBCU, Prairie View.
I have learned quite a bit in this graduate program. I am quite a different student than I was as an undergraduate. The courses and material can challenging, but I embrace it. I have grown quite a bit through this program.
