Point Loma Nazarene University Graduate Reviews

This smaller expensive private christian college is accelerated, I like that they didn't require the G.R.E., which allowed to have a running start, and have a hybrid (In-person & Online classes) quad system that works better for the working adult. In full disclosure, I have had a difficult time communicating my needs and having them met, receiving mentorship from my professors, and fitting in with fellow graduate students. I feel the clique like atmosphere allows the faculty to play favorites in who they offer opportunities to, or have doing what during volunteer opportunities, regardless of experience or fairness. I will respect their decisions, and am working on my second master's degree in two years, hopefully giving them to opportunity to recognize their shortcomings and invite people to be more involved. Maybe they can do what I did which got my denial turned into an acceptance (the first ever person in their history to do so), by asking what they could do to improve?

They are eager to help meet your educational and career goals! Every step of the way I have had counselors and professors who are available and accessible. PLNU has done everything they can to make me successful. I would recommend them anytime!
Great location for main campus with several satellite branches to choose from! The staff is great when it came to the application process and getting you ready for your first day of class.
