The academic rigor at Penn GSE is nonexistent. The level of intellectual posturing and buzzword Olympics is astronomical. The professors are totally inept educators themselves and the level of preparation for the realities of teaching is absolutely inadequate. Oh, plus every interaction with the bureaucracy/administration leaves you wanting to pluck your eyes out. If I could turn back time, I would never have put myself through the nightmare of going here.
I loved my graduate program at Penn. Learning along side top notch professors from Wharton, Graduate School of Education and Design school, I had a diverse and interdisciplinary education that will help me in all of my future roles.
Professors were knowledgeable, caring, and supportive. Coursework was rigorous and applicable to real world settings.
