Pacific Lutheran University Reviews

I absolutely loved PLU! The small campus facilitate relationships with students and faculty within one department as well as in other departments. Graduation requirements of taking classes outside of the declared major helped facilitate a holistic approach and opened perspective.

Pacific Lutheran University is a beautiful private school right outside of downtown Tacoma and it focuses on creating and embracing a diverse environment for students of many different backgrounds. The cohort/classes for graduate programs are as small as 20 students, which creates a learning environment that encourages support from faculty for every student.
I like the networking and support system PLU provides. Staff are nice and care about your success. I would change the lack of extracurricular activities. Campus lacks school spirit and little club involvement. Very quiet campus compared to others I have been to.
