Northwestern University Reviews

The courses are challenging, but they strengthen you in a way to prove how prepared you’re willing to be as a professional. The information can be difficult to absorb if you’re not used to learning primarily online, but the platform that it’s accessible through has many ways in which it can keep you engaged and able to access all of it’s content and features. You can finish your coursework on an app for your smartphone and tablet too! So convenient!

I absolutely love Northwestern. Even though I’m attending their online program and live a couple of states away, I still feel connected to my university. Over the past year, my professors, academic advisors, and other course leads have been extremely resourceful and I can tell they want me to succeed. The online campus is easy to use and there are people ready to help me 24/7 if I need it. Despite only meeting once a week via webcam, I feel connected to my classmates and love getting to know them better through class and group projects. I’ve learned so much about mental health counseling and I feel that I’ll be ready for my career when I graduate. I truly feel that I made the best decision when I picked Northwestern for my graduate career!
I am enjoying my experience taking courses online and find that the way the program is set up ensures you are getting your money’s worth in benefits from the platform, WeWork membership, LinkedIn free premium membership, and guidance from my very communicative and supportive Student Support Advisor. My professors are supportive, knowledgeable, experienced, and understanding teachers and excellent mentors in the fields of psychology and counseling. Proud to be a Wildcat, especially knowing how inclusive and willing they are to have the uncomfortable talks about racism in America in and out of the classroom.
