Master of Arts in Teaching: Elementary Education
NNU's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with Elementary Education Teacher Certification is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and desire to become a licensed elementary teacher. The 16-month program includes 12 months of coursework and one semester of student teaching. Upon completion of the program, teacher candidates will be ready to step into an elementary school or middle school classroom of their own.

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree program is designed to provide advanced study and research for educators interested in educational leadership. The Ph.D. is concentrated on the area of educational leadership; however, you can declare a specific focus. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree program is designed for students interested in researching national or international trends, or large-scale practices within the scope of education.
