Northern Kentucky University Graduate Reviews

I'm an online grad student. The online program was easy to figure out and the support is AMAZING! They have enough staff and stay in touch and call you to make sure that everything is going well for you. I had never taken online courses, plus I have not been in college for years, and they made the adjustment fairly painless. The instructors are flexible and understand there's a learning curve and allow some adjustment for crazy medical work schedules! I am so glad I chose NKU.

I absolutely loved NKU for my undergraduate degree. That is why I am reapplying to go to graduate school there. Their campus is located near the city, but it is away from all the hustle bustle. It's campus security is highly rated. Their class sizes are small, and their professors are very attentive on emailing and in class. The advisers can sometimes be misleading, but after having my own issues with an adviser, the head of my department took me on as her own case to help me build my future. Their cheapest dorms are very small, but they are clean as well as bathrooms.
I've had mostly a great experience at NKU for undergrad and grad. Some classes were slightly disorganized for unknown reasons, but the professors disorganization never had a negative impact on me. Some of the MBA classes are very easy and some are quite challenging. Overall, great professors, good mix of challenging and non-challenging coursework.
