New York Institute of Technology Graduate Reviews

I've had a great experience with NYIT so far in my graduate career. I'm enrolled in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. The environment and sense of camaraderie among the medical students is exceptional. Everyone wants to help one another succeed. The pathology professors and pharmacology professors are very knowledgeable. Most of the professors are willing to answer questions and help you learn. The mentorship in this school is remarkable. There are so many programs and opportunities where you are paired with professors, alumni, and upperclassmen. The safety on campus is great. We are one of the safest campuses in the nation. The only suggestions I have for improvement is limited study spaces given the amount of students, the delayed scheduling information release by administration, limited research opportunities, limited rotation sites in the surrounding counties, and lack of on-campus housing. Otherwise, great students, great location, great faculty, and promising future.

After my first semester, I am able to review this school as being very good. The instructors are prompt with their responses and grading. Financial aid takes care of questions very quickly. Everything is explained fairly well. Instructors are quick to make changes if you catch a mistake on blackboard or the syllabus. I am taking courses online for my master's degree so I am only able to speak to the professors and the academic side of things.
I am currently a Graduate student in Bioengineering. This is a private college with a very gorgeous campus located in Long Island. They do have multiple campuses all throughout NYC. Professors are relatively great and very helpful. College is very expensive.
