Morgridge College of Education Reviews
Rating 2.86 out of 5 7 reviews
Overall, the higher education program is very good, with dedicated and passionate faculty committed to discussing social justice and diversity in the context of higher education. Program flexible enough to let me explore my areas of interest in higher education. Critiques would be the college is siloed from larger university, difficult to integrate at times. Also, very expensive, even with financial supports.
Overall engaging coursework that mixed theory and practice, though some classes were theory-heavy. Clear application to student affairs work, though difficult to implement in entry-level positions. Commitment to exploring ways to support diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice in higher education in both research and practice.
The 100% online Masters of School Counseling Program is tailored for the working student very well. The class work has all been manageable while working a couple jobs, and the professors are incredibly supportive of the fact that we are not just students, but people with many things to juggle.
