Monroe College - Bronx Reviews

If you are looking to go to college and finish is a quicker time than most of your colleagues than Monroe is the place to go. Monore offers trimester so that you will finish in less time than usual. I recommend going at night, so there are fewer distractions, and the professors are engaging. They understand that we all have lives and are adults. The security may be a little on the nose, but that is to ensure everyone's safety. All the buildings are in close in proximity to each other so getting to each is never that difficult. Monore is a high school that gives you a great balance of city life and school life. While the Bronx campus located about 30 minutes away from midtown Manhattan, the hustle and bustle to achieve your goals and graduate on time are always there. The college is extremely diverse but predominately Hispanic. There is a good mix of students here from all walks of life.

The professors take the time to ensure students fully understand the content and often use real life scenarios to ensure content is clear and that students can find a correlation between the concept and their everyday lives.

I believe that the college should assist international students in their search for jobs after graduation and also assist in providing employment opportunities for all students.
Amazing Professors. Friendly and attentive staff. Great support and help from faculty when you ask for help. Your college experience and education is what you make it and if you put in the work, teacher will work with you. I enjoyed that the professors are in or have been in the field you are studying. As a Graduate Criminal Justice major, the professors and department faculty I had were very knowledgable, helpful, interesting and respectful. I am grateful for my experience at Monroe College in the Bronx.
