I am currently a graduate student at Monmouth University and am involved in the Criminal Justice Master's Program. Monmouth University has been a community of students excited and engaged to benefit and take advantage of the teachings from professors that have real world knowledge and experience in their respected field. The University constantly provides education, training, and job or intern positions that are offered throughout different criminal justice law enforcement positions. Our last professor was fair and insightful, and challenges students to think critically about recent event topics and articles that are either happening around the United States, and even close to the University.
Monmouth University provides a welcoming and friendly school environment from the security officers posted at the front doors to the professors greeting you in the classroom. Each class provides enough PPE equipment to ensure all can feel safe and be able to learn each and every class. The classrooms are smaller and provide more one-on-one experiences which benefits both students engaging with one another as well as speaking with the professors. The University constantly provides fun and exciting experiences for one to take part of as well as sends current event articles to ensure students are informed and updated with constant news, especially as we as a community continue the battle against Covid-19. Students can be well assured that the University is there to provide and care for the student, both educationally and personally.
What makes the academic program at Monmouth University so great is that the class volume is smaller compared to other common schools like Rutgers or Kean. Monmouth University provides a more intimate, one-on-one learning experience with both wonderful professors and a great location all around. The professors in the English department have provided me with nothing but support and endless memories both in person and online.
