I really enjoyed going to MSOE because it was a small school and you really got to know everyone there. It felt like home. Anywhere I went on campus I knew most people and professors. The professors also give you more time and attention because they have less students. Best of all, the professors for my program were the best. They care about each individual student and I still keep in contact with most of them today. They truly care about your development and success!
I completed the MBA program. The program was hybrid, in class and online. My classmates came from a variety of industries which made for engaging discussions in class. I met classmates in manufacturing, retail operations, insurance, banking, hospitals, and more. The professors all cared about their course content and my success.
The MBA program had opportunity for improvement with the online courses. The online courses and asynchronous discussions often felt like checking the boxes, valuing quantity of work over quality.
MSOE has room for improvement with following through with tuition pricing. When I was recruited to the school I was given a tuition price break for being with a particular employer. The school discontinued that partnership program while I was there so my tuition was much higher than I expected. It felt like a bait and switch.

I am a transfer student from a public university and found the smaller class sizes to be a refreshing experience. It allows for significantly more one on one time with the professors which facilitates a better learning environment.
