I love Middle Tennessee State University. I am enjoying my experience as a graduate student at this University. I wish I could attend full-time but I work full-time and have a toddler child! The campus is beautiful and well constructed. Campus activities are abundant and frequent. I am a commuter and believe the hour drive is well worth it. I love the program I am attending. I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I love my classmates and professors. The One Stop services are so helpful! I love Tammy York! She has been so helpful in navigating all my records and financial aid needs. The bookstore is awesome and the staff are friendly. The student Union is huge and provides a student with anything they could need. Food Services are plentiful and readily available. This is an awesome University and I would highly recommend it to anyone I meet.
The campus is beautiful! The College of Education is beautiful! Classes are offered in the evenings, weekends and online which help with my busy schedule. I do have an hour commute but it will be worth it in the end. Classes are awesome! Professors are awesome! Can't wait to graduate and get the job of my dreams!
The professor who developed our program and taught many of the courses was wonderful. She expected a lot from us and was active in our online discussion forums. She gave excellent feedback on all of our assignments. However, there was one professor who taught three of our courses and she was completely useless. She was not responsive to emails, did not provide any feedback on assignments, and never participated in our online discussion forums. When I reached out to her to ask why points were taken off of an assignment, she responded that I should not worry about it. Overall, there are some fantastic professors at MTSU, but there are also some duds.
