Marquette University Reviews

Marquette is a very conservative Catholic school. If you are anything other than a straight white upper middle class individual you will stand out. And when people are disrespectful and create hostile working environments Marquette does not step in to mediate the situation. As a graduate school Marquette no longer offers any form of health insurance or support outside of the meager stipend. Students are also not allowed to have an outside job if they are supported by a student stipend, so this means that most students in my department are living without health insurance as they are unable to cover living expenses plus private health insurance premiums. Marquette is not a school that stands up for or takes care of its students.

I have not taken any course at Marquette yet, however, my peers have provided really good feedback on the usefulness of the material that is being taught throughout the program.
The community here, along with academic excellence, amazing professors, city living, and friendliness of this campus has made my college experience amazing. The many student organizations that give their time to charitable organizations is amazing. So many students making a true difference.
